Egasca will be for the first time from 18 to 20 April at the Advanced Machine Tools fair, at Fira de Barcelona, to show metal industry professionals the new, technological and increasingly sustainable solutions from Citizen, Miyano and Brother. A new generation of machines for greater efficiency in production processes.

Advanced Machine Tools will become a new showcase for machine tools in Barcelona and will take place every two years, alternating with the biennial. Egasca could not miss this new event in the sector, and it will have a priority place.

At stand 7D420 in Hall 7 you will be able to see live two Citizen Cincom sliding headstock lathes, the D25-VIII and the L12-X, a fixed headstock lathe, the Miyano ANX42-SYY and one of the latest machining centres developed by Brother, the U500Xd1:

A versatile, high-powered model for machining parts with a high degree of complexity in the shortest possible time. Equipped with 10 axes + 2 C, it guarantees fast machining times combined with the highest level of productivity. The large number of tools, up to 59, on the main and counter spindle keeps production costs low while offering multiple machining possibilities. In addition, it is equipped with the unique LFV technology.

The Citizen L-12X, with its speed, thermal stability and precision, is the perfect solution for machining small diameter parts. This machine, capable of accelerating from 0 to 15,000 rpm, has been equipped with a Y2 axis on the sub-spindle, which provides increased functionality in rear-post machining. With a maximum capacity of up to 38 tools, it can carry out all types of machining with a high production capacity. It is one of the most popular machines in the medical-dental sector.

The first Miyano model exclusively equipped with LFV technology, it opens a new era in turning. Its linear guides and integrated motors reduce unproductive machining times to a minimum. Its two turrets, both with Y-axis and independent motorised stations, allow all kinds of complex machining operations to be carried out. In addition, its 15" HMI interface increases user-friendliness by incorporating a Citizen-developed multi-axis control unit.

The new compact Brother Speedio U500Xd1 machining centre is capable of 5-axis indexing thanks to its integrated rotary-tilt table. With a working area of up to Ø500mm and a 28-tool magazine, it allows machining of all types of workpieces in a single setup, making it once again an innovative machine in the BBT30 centre segment.
